Jennifer is an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (Rochester, 2008-2011, and Arnot Ogden NICU 2011-present), and Ultrasonographer (BirthN’Beyond).

While working in the Rochester NICU, she was introduced to lactation support and that ignited her passion for providing feeding support services to families and their new babies.

Prior to her extensive lactation education experience, Jennifer became a mother. In this translation, her first child experience many challenges with feeding. There were little lactation support service at that time, leaving parents to navigate those challenges alone. Jennifer was able to find her way through each struggle, and that experience lead her to finding a support solution for families.

In 2014, Jennifer became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She established Whitt’s End, PLLC, a lactation and breast/chest/bottle feeding support service that is unique. Jennifer works with parents and babies, but she also provides prenatal feeding education and support, extensive evaluation and rehabilitation, and she co-manages many babies with Dr. Crystal Gullo-Buzzetti at Healing Arts Chiropractic & Wellness.

Lactation & Chiropractic Pediatric Care

Dr. Crystal and Jennifer have created space to support parents and babies by offering joint appointments that examine the baby’s latch (bottle or breast/chest), oral and primitive reflexes, muscle tone, and Chiropractic subluxation. Working together, we can determine very specific issues with latch dysfunction and help to facilitate a healthy, comfortable latch for mom and baby.

Lip, Tongue, & Cheek Ties

Our joint appointments and Jennifer’s individual appointments examine the existence and severity of “ties” that may effect a babies latch and feeding ease. We have also developed a pre-frenectomy/frenotomy introduction to the oral exercises needed to prevent re-attachment of the revised “ties” and reduce the occurrence of scar tissue formation.

Chiropractic and IBCLC care pre and post “tie” revision is well-known and often recommended by Pediatric Dentists performing laser tie revision procedures. Jen and Dr. Crystal have worked closely with several Pediatric Dentists performing the procedure over the last 5 years.
